Location: 4620 S Sam Houston Parkway Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-hours shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with ordering, receiving, counting, and maintaining inventory
Unpack and ensure proper placement of received inventory according to storage and/or refrigeration requirements
Accurately gathers medications and supplies according to specifications of compounding record
Label prepared compounded sterile products
Assist with cleaning of pharmacy prep area and sterile product complex, including required monthly clean of cleanroom environment
Sanitizing prepare medications and supplies for entry into cleanroom environment
Restock pharmacy and cleanroom supplies
Organize medication orders to prepare for production
Package and label prepared medication orders, insuring drug related supplies, and education materials are included
Prepare and scan compounding record documentation
Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member/patient data
Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices as a liaison for the pharmacy team
Communicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
Contact patients to complete refill assessments, request payment information, establish delivery details, and set up treatment in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or other outpatient facilities
Access, input, and retrieve prescriptions and medical/lab information from computer system
Verify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolve rejected claims
Process prescription refills and interpret supply needs as related to various therapies
Resolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is provided
Able to multitask and channel communication from various business partners, driving patient centric quality care
Follow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethics

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED OR 4+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas
1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Ability to work onsite at 4620 S Sam Houston Parkway Houston, TX, Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts between 7 AM - 7 PM
Preferred Qualifications:
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
Completion of a pharmacy technician certification program (CPhT)
Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
Experience working as an Infusion Pharmacy Technician
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
